A chatbot gives an answer: It shares the address-change policy and points the shopper to support. The shopper waits for a person.
An agent performs a task: It tries the edit, but without the merchant’s unwritten rules for this case, it escalates the ticket. By the time someone picks it up, the order may have shipped.
An agency achieves the goal: The address is updated before the order ships and the shopper gets a confirmation. If the case needs a new rule, the CX lead approves it in the daily review loop and it applies from then on.
We hit the ceiling ourselves
Seel’s own AI agents for customer support were stuck at just over 50% resolution. It had the SOPs and the scope of work but our team had what the AI was missing: context shared in Slack threads, calls and tickets worked together. The gap was context.
So we built an AI Agency that included an AI Manager, which our team can talk to, work tickets with and coach the way they would coach a new rep. In Seel’s own operations, resolution climbed to 80+%. Our Support Agency runs on that same loop.
